March 12 (UPI) — Max Crosby has rejoined the Las Vegas Raiders after a trade with the Baltimore Ravens fell through, the Pro Bowl passer wrote on social media.
Late Wednesday night, Crosby took to Instagram and X to comment publicly on the matter for the first time. On Tuesday night, the Raiders announced the Ravens were “opt-out” of a trade deal for the pass rusher that would have netted them two first-round draft picks.

“Everything happens for a reason,” Crosby wrote on his social media platform. “Don’t believe what you hear and only half of what you see.
“I’m a raider. I’m back. Run…”
Crosby, 28, signed a three-year, $106.5 million contract extension with the Raiders in 2025. His contract runs until 2029. The five-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time Second Team All-Pro selection joined the Raiders as a fourth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and had 69.5 sacks in his first 110 career games.
He will return to a revamped Raiders defense that includes linebackers Nakobe Dean, Quay Walker and Quanti Paye and cornerback Talon Johnson, among other offseason acquisitions.
