How to Download Voter ID Card Online
In addition to allowing you to vote, a voting ID card serves as proof of identity for any citizen. You will also need to be a registered voter to download your card online. The process of applying to become a new elector is very simple and can be done by completing Form 6 through the (National Voter Services Portal) NVSP website. Currently, the e-EPIC download tool is only available to newly registered voters after November 2020, using a unique mobile number only. For others, the website says the facility will be available soon. Once you become a registered voter, you can easily download your Voter ID Card online by following the steps below:

Go to the NVSP site and click Login/Register. While registering, you will be asked to verify your mobile number with OTP and other basic details. Complete the registration process.

After registering or logging in, click Electronic epic download options on the home page. EPIC stands for Election Photo Identity Card.

The site will ask you epic number or Form reference number. Click on the option you know, select your state, and click search.

Verify again using the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

Click to download your Voter ID Card Download e-EPIC. This is considered a valid voter identification document. However, it currently only applies to new voters registered after November 2020.
