UFC Houston occur tonight (Saturday, February 21, 2026) Inside the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. The event will of course be streamed live on Paramount+. The main activities are Sean Strickland and Anthony Hernandez At middleweight, Hernandez looks to “torture” Strickland and prepare him for a title shot Kanzhat Chimaev. lost to Strickland Du Plessis in his last battle possible If he defeats the stampeding “Fluffly” in impressive fashion, jump to the front of the line.

The co-main event has Jeff Neal Just lost a huge loss to Carlos Prates. He is meeting the KO machine Uros Medic (He himself was once inspired). This fight should produce a highlight reel or two.
The main card also has dan ig and Melquizar Costa, Sergei Spivaz and Ant Delia, Jacob Smith and Josiah Harrell and Zachary Reese and Michelle Pereira.
UFC Houston “preliminaries” are headlined Chidi Nyokuani and Carlos Lyle. Other noteworthy “preliminary” rounds include Ramiz Brahimai and Punahle Soriano and Jordan Levitt and Yadir del Valle.

Zachary Reese vs. Michelle Pereira
Official decision: Michelle Pereira def. Zachary Reese wins via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28)
Round 3: Pereira landed two nice overhand shots early on, but then the pace of the game dropped dramatically. Both men conserved energy while hitting hard shots in the final 30 seconds, but neither hit. Pereira pointed to the canvas at the ten-second mark, but no exchange occurred. I scored this round for Pereira because of his early shots.

Second round: Early in the second round, Pereira knocked Reese to the body with a knee. Pereira then asked for a timeout for an eye poke, which he got. At this point, it started to feel like a gimmick for Pereira, looking for fouls to give himself a breather. There were many heated exchanges after that, but it was Pereira who seemed to do the most damage (Rees suffered a possible fractured cheekbone). Even so, Reese’s activity and aggression made him interested in me.

First round: Pereira pounded Reese early in the first round and then knocked Reese down with an overhand right. The round was then halted twice for low blows, both of which were caused by Reese. However, replays showed that the kick was placed closer to the inner thigh than the groin and then to the abdomen (the Texas crowd didn’t like that). Pereira managed to knock me out later and cement the victory in the round.

Chidi Njokuani vs Carlos Leal: Lyle attacked Njokuani with a barrage of punches early, trapping him against the cage and throwing punches non-stop. A lot of punches were thrown (many to the body). After a chaotic start, Njokuani spent the remainder of the game playing catch-up. He also looked tired from his early physical work. He managed to stay and attack himself, but Lyle was too busy and too aggressive for him.

Oded Osborne vs. Alibi Idiris: Idiris found a home for his wild attacks, but it was his wrestling that mattered most in this fight. He knocked Osbourne down five times, making it difficult for Osbourne to get any more rounds. This was the second game in a row where his takedown defense was exploited, resulting in a loss.

Alden Corea vs. Luis Gruul: Joshua Pham’s teammate Corea plays at home here tonight. He once again showed great promise by completely dismantling Luis Gruul. His strikes, especially his uppercuts and body kicks, hurt Gurule. When Gurule threatens to fall, he’s able to bounce up and out of bad form almost immediately. Very easy to score.

Jocelyn Edwards VS Norah Connoll: Edwards looked rather shy in the first round and lost to Conor in Muay Thai. However, in the second, Edwards came in and punched Conor (injuring her shoulder). Edwards followed up with a hammerfist attack and a rear-naked choke. After the game, Conor screamed in pain. She may have a broken collarbone.

Punahle Soriano VS Ramiz Brahima: That was a great fight. Brahima looked great in the first round, giving Soriano trouble with his speed and physicality. But in the second, Soriano’s strength advantage meant he spent a lot of time fighting Brahima who was pinned against the cage. In the crucial third round, Soriano performed well, kicking four consecutive headers, some of which broke Brahima’s defense. These hurt Brahimai and left him breathless. For these reasons, he faded in the game. I give Soriano the win 29-28.

Phil Rowe vs. Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani: Rowe’s tendency to start slowly came back to haunt him. He fell 0-2 against Lebosnoyani, who was aggressive on his feet and was knocked down in the first round. In the third, Rowe landed big hits (little more than singles) but couldn’t muster the firepower needed to pull off the final victory. I had Lebosnoyani winning every round, but the third round was close.

Yadier del Valle vs. Jordan Leavitt: Levitt’s stellar performance on the ground derailed Del Valle’s hype train. Levitt looked very big and strong at featherweight, and he proved Del Valle was still a very raw prospect (he also spanked him in the third round). He won every round for me.

Carly Giudice VS Julianna Miller: This is an interesting opening. Giudice looked like a threat to KO Miller every time they stood up, but Miller was able to spend enough time on the ground to stay alive and hear the final bell. Miller also showed some creativity in kicking out of the cage to get takedowns.
