The unidentified man also claimed there were bodies inside the house where he was attacked.

“Officers entered the basement of the home and found three adult males who had apparently been brutally assaulted,” Detroit Police Commander Rebecca McKay told reporters in a broadcast broadcast by WXYZ.

Additional footage showed multiple law enforcement officers inside the Edsel Street home, which was cordoned off by police.

“They are dead. We are currently studying all the evidence and the case is still in its preliminary stages,” the police commander continued.

McKay also said the victims, whose identities have not been released, were approximately 50 years old or older, the Detroit News reported.

Sources told WXYZ their bodies were wrapped in towels and rugs and had blood everywhere.
