The Seattle Seahawks will lose an offensive assistant coach to Klint Kubiak’s Las Vegas Raiders staff.
CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz reported Monday night that running game coordinator Rick Dennison is expected to leave Seattle for Vegas in an undisclosed role. Not only did Dennison previously work with Clint with the New Orleans Saints and Minnesota Vikings, he was also a longtime assistant under Gary Kubiak and a teammate of his with the Denver Broncos.
Denison was hired by the Seahawks last season and served as run game coordinator for the first time since Minnesota in the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

Seattle is poised to retain much of its coaching staff starting in 2025, most notably offensive line coach John Benton and defensive backs coach Carl Scott. The only departures so far are Kubiak (obviously) as Raiders head coach, quarterbacks coach Andrew Janoco as Clint’s offensive coordinator, and now Dennison in a to-be-determined role (if not some kind of advisory role). It’s unlikely we’ll see any more departures, whether from the Raiders or other teams in the NFL.
Best wishes to Rick as he wins his fourth Super Bowl title in his coaching career.
