senator. Cynthia Loomis (R-Wyo.) told congressional reporters Pablo Manriquez On Monday, she expressed shock that the latest document dump included a potential nine-year-old victim and now supports the full release of Epstein’s files.
“I was not one of the members who made this an issue. I was kind of intentionally delaying letting other people learn about this. But the nine-year-old victim —” Loomis told Manriquez, expressing shock and horror at the news.
Manriquez interjected: “Around the world, Moscow is saying this is sort of like a real global network, and they can now see it on these four terminals that they have.” Those terminals are referring to the Justice Department computers where members of Congress can view unredacted Epstein files.
“Wow. Well, initially, my reaction to all of this was, ‘I don’t care. I don’t know what the big deal is.’ But now I understand what the big deal is, and it deserves investigation. The members of Congress who have been pushing this are not wrong. So that’s really my only reaction,” Loomis added.
Loomis’ comments are a major breakthrough for the president donald trump stance on the Epstein dossier and House Republicans pushing for Epstein’s release, including Rep. Thomas Massey (Kentucky Republican) – Trump vows to remove him from office. “This is all a big hoax, perpetrated by Democrats,” Trump said last year of the effort to release the documents. “Some dumb Republicans and dumb Republicans have fallen into the trap. So they’re trying to do the Democrats’ job. The Democrats are nothing but these shenanigans.”
Loomis announced late last year that she would not seek re-election and would retire from politics when her term ends in January 2027.
