With Super Bowl 60 over, every team in the NFL can enter the offseason with optimism and dreams of traveling to Inglewood, California to play Super Bowl 61 at SoFi Stadium. The Eagles made a name for themselves in the playoffs, but for a team that finished the regular season with an overall record of 11-6, it wasn’t all bad. Philadelphia is the first to win back-to-back NFC East titles since the Eagles (four times) more than two decades ago in 2001-04 and is the only NFL team to defend its division title in 2025. Philadelphia is one of only two NFL teams to make five consecutive playoff appearances (tying the franchise record set from 2000-04), joining Buffalo (seven). The Eagles are also one of only three clubs to make the playoffs in eight of the last nine seasons (the others are Buffalo and Kansas City), representing the best nine-year stretch in franchise history.
Now, Howie Roseman will decide on 21 free agents and shape Sean Mannion’s plans around quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Select AJ Brown.
On April 28, 2022, the Eagles acquired AJ Brown from the Titans, receiving that year’s 18th overall pick and another third-round pick. draft. The move was designed to ensure Philadelphia finally overcomes its woes at the wide receiver position, and the results have been magical. Brown is a two-time All-Pro honoree, Pro Bowl honoree, has rushed for over 1,400 yards twice and has accumulated over 5,000 receiving yards since joining the Eagles. Brown has been the subject of trade rumors, and that needs to be addressed.

Jordan Mailata has discussed retirement, Landon Dixon has hinted at the move, and Lane Johnson could certainly leave. With Jeff Stoutland gone, the Jays need to revamp and evaluate their offensive line.
Reload at TE point.
Dallas Goedert, Grant Calcatra and Kellen Grantham are all scheduled to become free agents in March. The only tight end under contract on the roster is Cameron Latu. Even if Goedert returns, Philadelphia must take steps to improve the position.

Addressing edge striker location.
Even with Jarix Hunter and Nolan Smith on the roster, the Eagles will have to address Jaylan Phillips in free agency while adding more pass rushers to the roster. Philadelphia has five free agents.
Add another cornerback
Even with two All-Pro players on the roster, Philadelphia still needs to upgrade and add depth at the cornerback position. Even with Kelly Ringo, Michael Carter II, Jakorian Bennett and Mac McWilliams on the roster, the Eagles need to find a big fish on a roster loaded with top pass catchers.
Add WR talent
Even if AJ Brown returns, the depth and experience behind the two stars will be limited. Johnny Wilson is back from a knee injury and Darius Cooper is unconfirmed.
