GREEN BAY — The Green Bay Packers are hiring Penn State’s Noah Pauley as wide receivers coach, according to multiple national reports.
Pauley spent the past three seasons as receivers coach at Iowa State. He served as passing game coordinator the past two years.

Pauley was considered a young and offensively gifted prospect who originally followed Matt Campbell to Penn State but later transferred to the NFL. He interviewed for the San Francisco 49ers’ offensive coordinator position in 2025.
Pauley’s coaching career began with Division II Duluth in Minnesota, where he coached from 2011-18 before moving to North Dakota State. While at NDSU, he coached Packers standout receiver Christian Watson. Pauley developed Watson into an FCS All-American and three-time All-Conference selection, leading the team in receptions for three consecutive seasons.
Pauley also played a key role in the development of NFL draft picks Jaden Higgins (second round) and Jaylin Noel (third round), both of whom just finished their rookie seasons with the Houston Texans.
Ryan Mahaffey heads to Eagles
The report also states that after two seasons as the Packers’ receivers coach, Ryan Mahaffy will join the Philadelphia Eagles as running game coordinator and tight ends coach.
