CNN Manu Raju Ask the House Oversight Chairman Directly James Comer (Kentucky Republican) Why President on Tuesday Donald Trump Not called to testify as part of House inquiry into deceased child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein.

Raju spoke with Cuomo on Capitol Hill after he announced his presidential appointment on Tuesday bill clinton and Hillary Clinton They are due to testify in court on February 27 after initially dismissing the subpoena.

Trump called it a “disgrace” for Republicans to force the Clintons to testify and claimed “I don’t want to see that happen” but insisted Democrats were “hunting” him too.

Some Democrats have vowed to drag Trump before Congress against Epstein if their party regains control of the House after the midterm elections.

“We will absolutely have Donald Trump testify under oath,” Rep. Ted Liu (D-CA) told NBC News.

Raju raised the possibility with Cuomo, noting that Trump’s name appeared thousands of times in the newly released 5,300 Epstein-related documents released by the Justice Department.

“President Trump is mentioned over a thousand times in these documents. Why not get more information from him? Have him testify?” Raju asked.

Citing questions from the media on the issue, Cuomo claimed that Trump had already received enough pressure on issues related to Epstein.

“Well, I noticed that every time you have this small talk with President Trump, he’s asked about Epstein. So he’s been answering questions about Epstein,” Cuomo said.

Raju noted that the president has never been questioned under oath. Without addressing that point directly, Cuomo returned to the subject of the Clintons.

“So, has Bill Clinton answered any questions about Epstein or Hillary Clinton? So that will be a new opportunity and we’ll go from there.”

Trump has continually made conflicting claims to the media about his ties to Epstein, often silencing reporters who asked for further clarification.

On the same day that Cuomo claimed the president had been answering Estein’s questions, Trump attacked CNN’s reporting Caitlan Collins after she raised questions on the subject.

“You’re terrible, you know that? You’re the worst reporter,” the president said. “No wonder. CNN has no ratings because of people like you. You know, she’s a young woman. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you smile. I’ve known you for 10 years. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a smile on your face.”
