Here’s the UFC 325 live blog for Rafael Fiziev vs. Mauricio Ruffy, Saturday’s main lightweight bout at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.

Fiziev (13-4) now looks to fight a long and arduous battle back into title contention after defeating Ignacio Bahamondes. Fiziev had lost three straight fights before defeating Bahammonds, including a loss to Mateusz Gamrot due to injury that forced him to miss 17 months of competition. Now back on the winning track, Fiziev aims to knock out Rufi and earn himself a highly ranked opponent in his next fight.
Ruffy (12-2) suffered his first UFC loss in September when he knocked out Benoit Saint Denis at UFC Paris. The result did little to quell the buzz for the fight-nerdy striker, who scored one of the best knockouts of 2025 with a spinning wheel kick that knocked out veteran Kim Green. Rufi has won 11 fights via KO/TKO and is determined to add Fiziev to his highlight reel.
