“We are very confident,” Hansi Flick insisted at his pre-match press conference as his Barcelona prepare to face Copenhagen in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The final round of the league stage will kick off simultaneously at 20:00 GMT for all 36 teams, with clubs needing to track how results elsewhere affect their promotion.

Barcelona have already qualified for the playoffs, but they can bypass a potentially tricky tie by finishing in the top eight.
“We focus on what’s at hand”
Barca are top of the La Liga table, but things are not so rosy in the Champions League, where Hansi Flick’s side are not entirely in control of their destiny.
Barcelona have 13 points from 7 Champions League games so far this season; golehada A performance at Camp Nou will certainly boost their chances of finishing in the top eight, but they are likely to be affected by results elsewhere.

“We focused on ourselves and what was in our hands,” Flick explained ahead of “a difficult game against Copenhagen.
“We are confident in our style, the way we play, and this is the Champions League. We have to show our best.”
Barca ‘must manage the game in the best way possible’
When asked about the need for a big score on Wednesday, Flick explained that Barca must “manage the game in the best way possible.
“We have a good team, also on the bench, and we have to play as a team. This game is very important for us and we have to prove it. That’s what I want to see.”
Still, he insisted “we have to go step by step.”
“We have to respect Copenhagen because they have a good team. We have to defend well and try to stop them from scoring and score goals to win.”
