NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Chance Gray scored 22 points, Jaloni Cambridge had 18 points and Elsa Lemmila had 17 as No. 12 Ohio State beat No. 9 TCU 71-69 on Monday in the Coretta Scott King Classic.
Gray made 6 of 8 three-pointers and Cambridge had eight assists and six rebounds for Ohio State (17-2), which has won its sixth straight game.

The game was tied eight times in the fourth quarter before Ohio State took a 67-66 lead on Cambridge’s free throws with 1:10 left.
Gray’s three-pointer gave the Buckeyes a 70-66 lead with 16 seconds left in the game. TCU (18-2) tied the game at 70-69 on Veronica Sheffey’s 3-pointer with 0.3 seconds left, then Cambridge tied the game on free throws.
After the timeout, TCU had a chance to tie the game, but Donovan Hunter turned the ball over as time expired.
Olivia Myers added 24 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists for TCU. It was the 48th time in her career that she had at least 15 points and five assists.

She shot just 1-of-7 from long range but shot 11-of-12 from the free throw line.
TCU turned the ball over 20 times.
Myers, a graduate student who played at Notre Dame before transferring to TCU this season, played in front of scores of family and friends who traveled an hour from her hometown of Phillipsburg.
