It appears 49ers left tackle Trent Williams will start today against the Eagles.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter said Williams is expected to play.
Williams said Friday he feels confident He missed last week’s regular-season finale with a hamstring injury, but he was still able to play.

“It’s probably going to be in the back of my mind for a while, but once you start getting excited and the adrenaline is flowing, I don’t think it’s going to be a problem,” Williams said.
The 37-year-old Williams, a 12-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro selection, has accomplished just about everything in the NFL except a Super Bowl ring. Getting him ready will give the 49ers a better chance of winning a championship this year.
Less clear is whether wide receiver Ricky Pearsall, who is out with knee and ankle injuries, can play today.
