Phil Mickelson can’t resist any problem these days.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has called for stricter gun laws following a deadly attack on Bondi Beach on Sunday that left 16 people dead and 42 injured.

Mickelson couldn’t help but voice his opinion on Monday, tweeting a video of Albanese’s statement.
“The (two) terrorists seemed unaffected by the strict gun laws in place,” Mickelson wrote on
After Sunday’s shooting, Albanese said the federal government was prepared to take further action to tighten Australia’s gun laws. He announced that tougher gun measures would be placed on the national cabinet agenda later in the day.
Albanese said the proposals would include limiting the number of guns an individual can own and regularly reviewing firearms licenses, rather than allowing them to remain valid indefinitely.

He stressed that people’s circumstances can change over time, including the risk of radicalization, and argued that the licensing system must reflect this reality through ongoing checks.
Albanese added that if further tightening of the law was necessary, he was prepared to take such action and hoped to gain the support of the national cabinet.
On Saturday, Mickelson weighed in on another political issue that has nothing to do with him, backing Rep. Jim Jordan’s criticism of Democrats after ICE officially released Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
Mickelson, of course, wrote on social media that the party’s victory “came at the expense of America and its citizens.”
