Baltimore Ravens playoff picture: What Week 15 win vs. Bengals means for AFC standings

The Baltimore Ravens put the pressure on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15. Baltimore’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals means the Steelers need a win on Monday night to stay in first place in the division. Pittsburgh did just that while the Ravens remained on the sidelines.

The Denver Broncos won and moved into first place, while the New England Patriots dropped to second after losing to the Buffalo Bills. The Jacksonville Jaguars moved into third place with the win. The Pittsburgh Steelers play Monday night.

Elsewhere in the AFC playoffs, a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs meant they were eliminated from the postseason.

In the remaining wild-card races, the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans all won to retain their playoff spots. It looked like Baltimore’s only path to the playoffs was through the division.

The Indianpolis Colts lost the game in the final seconds and fell just one game behind in the playoffs today.

AFC standings after Week 15

The Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals were both eliminated from the AFC playoffs on Sunday.

Week 15 AFC North Standings

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens both control their own destinies in the AFC North race. They will face off in Week 18.

Baltimore has games remaining against three playoff teams in the Patriots, Packers and Steelers.

The Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns both lost again. They were both eliminated from the playoffs.
