Auburn edge rusher Keldric Faulk is receiving positive attention from the NFL Draft as he prepares for the next step in his career.
CBS Sports’ latest NFL mock draft pairs Faulk with the New York Jets at No. 7 overall. Josh Edwards of CBS Sports believes the Jets will go after the best player on the board, and Faulk could be that guy at No. 7.
The Jets roster should be considered a clean slate. If the Chargers were the best player, New York would select that player. Keldric Faulk is a tall, young rookie who will help set the tone for Aaron Glenn’s defense.
Faulk’s numbers have regressed this season, with 29 tackles and 2 sacks. However, he showed off his pass defense skills with four interceptions. Faulk is a true junior, which means he will have a chance to return to Auburn in 2026 under new head coach Alex Goresh. However, if his draft stock is that high, he might consider turning pro. If that happens, Faulk will finish his Auburn career with 110 tackles, 10 sacks and six pass deflections.

According to CBS Sports’ latest mock draft, Faulk is projected to be the first SEC player selected in the 2026 NFL Draft. Several notable SEC players with first-round stock include Tennessee cornerback Jermond McCoy, Georgia linebacker C.J. Allen and Alabama linebacker Kaden Proctor.
