49ers WR Jauan Jennings goes full ‘Grinch’ mode, trolls fans after scoring a touchdown in matchup with Colts

Jauan Jennings couldn’t help but have some fun at Lucas Oil Stadium on Monday night.

Jennings caught a short 3-yard touchdown catch from Brock Purdy in the second half against the Indianapolis Colts on Monday and immediately sprinted toward a pair of fans seated in the corner of the end zone. Jennings also extended his hand, seemingly preparing to hand the ball to a woman sitting in the front row.

But when Jennings reached her, he snatched the ball back, turned and sprinted the other way to celebrate, an incredible piece of troll work. The woman’s face and outstretched hands said it all.

brutal. But since Jennings was in enemy territory, it’s hard to blame him.

The touchdown catch was only Jennings’ second catch all night. The 49ers also led 31-17 at the time. Jennings has eight total touchdowns this season. The 28-year-old entered Monday night’s game with 44 catches for 495 yards.

San Francisco enters the game with a 10-4 record, which puts them in third place in the NFC West standings. However, the 49ers have already clinched a playoff spot, so a loss to the Colts wouldn’t completely derail their playoff hopes.

They’re not out of the divisional round by any means, though, so a strong finish on Monday night and the final two games of the regular season against the Chicago Bears and Seattle Seahawks would be very helpful for the playoffs.
