Tennessee will kick off the 2026 softball season with the NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic at the Eddie C. Moore Complex in Clearwater, Florida.
The Lady Vols will face Brigham Young University in the season opener on February 5. The first game is scheduled for No. 3 at 7 p.m. ET. Tennessee will play two games on Feb. 6 at No. 3 against Liberty (4 p.m. ET) and Rutgers (7 p.m. ET).

Tennessee’s final two games in the NFCA Division I Leadoff Classic will be on Feb. 7 against Boston College on Court 9 (1 p.m. ET) and against Oregon State on Court 8 (7 p.m. ET).
The Lady Vols’ first home game of 2026 is scheduled for Feb. 27 against Appalachian State University at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium in the Tennessee Invitational (3 p.m. ET).
Sophomore infielder Emma Clarke will enter her second year at Tennessee in 2026.
In 2025, she played in 44 games for the Lady Vols, starting 34 of them. In 90 at-bats, he had a batting average of 211, an on-base percentage of .287, a slugging percentage of .356, 19 hits, 7 doubles, 2 home runs, 12 RBIs, 8 runs scored, and 9 at-bats.

Defensively, the 6-foot-1 Clarke shot .989 from the field, taking 77 shots, dishing out 13 assists and committing one turnover.
She is from West Rowan High School in Ulla Mountain, North Carolina.
