Four winners have been crowned through the first five rounds of the 2026 Supermotocross World Championship, with all but one rider in their 30s. Chase Sexton, 26, is the youngest driver to win this season. Hunter Lawrence is the driver most likely to put his name on the winner’s list and if he can pull off the victory, he will be a month younger than Sexton.
There was significant danger for 33-year-old Eli Tomac, who crashed in the first corner at Glendale, Arizona, and could only rebound to 12th in the Checkers race. He doesn’t need to make up all the gap he’s lost, but he certainly needs to stay within a few spots of championship leader Lawrence and second-placed 31-year-old Ken Roczen.

The driver’s stage has been set at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington, where the track was in good condition on Saturday. Unfortunately, this will be the first time riders will get a chance to see it, as the Seattle Seahawks delayed track construction so they could hold a parade to celebrate their victory over the New England Patriots in last week’s Super Bowl.
