Beyond that, the Blues still need to win an important game to ensure they qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League. In order to do that, they had to beat Napoli away from home, which they almost did.
While it required real personal quality and first-class shooting ability from Joao Pedro, his first goal was undoubtedly world-class. His second goal wasn’t too bad either, with a brilliant finish giving Chelsea a 3-2 lead and the win.

Kendry Pace celebrates Strasburg’s first goal.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has released exclusive news via his X on the future of Chelsea player Kendry Paez.
He said:
“River Plate have agreed to sign Kendry Paes on loan from Chelsea, let’s get started! 🔴⚪️
“#CFC signed Kendry on loan from Strasbourg and with the arrival of new talent Paes traveled to Buenos Aires for a medical which was the ideal solution for his development.
“Agreed to go on loan for the entire season.”
Hope he does better
The attacking midfielder needs a move as it simply didn’t work for him at Strasbourg, so let’s hope this move works out better for him and Chelsea.
