It promises to be a magical night at the racecourse as Wrexham’s famous boss approaches his fifth year at the helm and is trying to push the club from the fifth tier into the Premier League.
Phil Parkinson’s Wrexham is Ranked sixth in the championship standings and currently occupies a playoff spot They have lost only two of their past 13 games. They have already defeated Premier League team Nottingham Forest at home via penalty shootout in the FA Cup third round, and defeated Ipswich Town, who are also expected to advance, at home in the previous round. Wrexham bosses Ryan Reynolds, Rob McElhenney and their colleagues dream of being in the same league as Chelsea next season and it will be a huge test to see how close that is to achieving that.
Chelsea manager Liam Rogniel will rotate heavily but will also have great respect for Wrexham as Chelsea view the FA Cup as a competition they can win.
