This season, he will face the Warriors on Christmas Day and the Dallas Mavericks face the Golden State Warriors on Thursday.
This is the third of five NBA Christmas Day games.
Even coming off the bench, Thompson will be a noticeable part of this game.
Due to Thompson’s importance to the Golden State dynasty, him wearing a different uniform will draw a lot of attention.

Why did Klay Thompson leave the Warriors to join the Mavericks?

As the move occurred, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported:

“In the final season of Thompson’s outstanding 13-year career with the Warriors, his relationship with the team became increasingly strained due to contract discussions and impending free agency. As the season progressed, it became increasingly likely that he would leave.”
