Spring has arrived in college football. The spring balls are here! Fans’ excitement and anticipation for what their teams will look like in the upcoming season is growing by the day. This is also the time when the under-seat heaters on some coaches start turning on. Alabama’s Kalen DeBoer is No. 1 on the hot seat list. While his tenure at Alabama got off to a successful start, it wasn’t enough for some Crimson Tide fans. Andy Staples, Ross Drenger and Steven Godfrey discuss the situation in Tuscaloosa. They were also high on the list of some other notable coaches coming into the season. The list includes names like Lincoln Riley, Mike Norvell and Dabo Swinney.

Then there was a discussion of the 18 Nebraska players who will go to arbitration with the College Athletic Commission over invalidated NIL deals. What an impact this outcome will have not only on Nebraska athletes, but all other athletes whose contracts have been voided or may be voided in the future. Additionally, staff broke with Big Ten Commissioner Tony Petitti’s request that NCAA President Charlie Baker stop punishing schools for tampering.
