A University of Georgia professor was kicked out of the classroom over a video that could get law enforcement into trouble.
“Street Sweeperz TV” confronted the professor, accusing him of inappropriate chatting with someone he believed to be a teenage boy.

Last week, they said they got a tip that led them to a classroom at the University of Georgia.
Members of the “Street Sweeperz” interrupted class and confronted the professor about messages he allegedly sent to someone he believed to be a 14-year-old boy.
“He texted one of our decoy accounts on a sex dating app,” said Angelus Pereira of “Street Sweeperz.”
“I made a mistake. I made a mistake,” he can be heard saying in the video.
Pereira said the conversation began last week and soon after, they turned to sexual topics.
“Their behavior was very inappropriate and very graphic,” he said. “He sent a video and photo of himself.”

He said the professor tried to meet the teenager in Athens.
Students told Doudna that if the allegations were true, the professor should be fired and held accountable.
“If it was him, I think he should definitely be kicked out of the university and let the legal matter take its course,” University of Georgia student Jack Hinton said.
“That guy probably shouldn’t be around young kids, college kids,” said University of Georgia student Sam Toubin.
Doudna spoke with three attorneys who said criminal charges are still possible as long as the Street Sweepers follow proper procedures.
As of now, the professor has not been criminally charged, so Channel 2 Action News He was not identified.
