UFC 326 weigh-in results: ‘BMF’ title fight set; 1 fight canceled

The Ultimate Fighting Championship kicks off March with the “BMF” title fight, which is now official following the UFC 326 weigh-in.

The five-round “Champion” main event is now set to feature reigning “BMF” Max Holloway, who will compete for the belt against former lightweight king Charles Oliveira. Both successfully lost weight without any problems. As for the rest of the card, all the fighters have put on weight except for Jeong Yeong Lee, who has “weight management issues,” so the fight with Gaston Bolanos was canceled.

Holloway (27-8) comes into the fight after defending his BMF title, which he won against Justin Gaethje and Dustin Poirier. “Blessed” is looking to defend a second time after losing his featherweight title bid against Ilia Topuria. The 34-year-old, who has a 4-1 record in his past five fights, will be looking to defeat Oliveira for a second time, having previously fought in 2015. Holloway’s official weight for the main event was 155.5 pounds.

Meanwhile, Oliveira (36-11, 1 NC) is facing Mateusz Gamrot via face-off submission. The “Do Bronxs” were also recently eliminated by Topria and are 2-1 in their last three games. The Brazilian suffered a bizarre esophageal injury in his first match against his Hawaiian rivals. The 36-year-old’s official weight for the title fight was 156 pounds.

UFC 326 will be broadcast live on Paramount+. Preliminaries begin at 5 pm ET/2 pm PT, while the main draw begins at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT.
