The three teams hope to earn themselves a shot at the FTR and AEW World Tag Team Championships on the February 11 episode of “AEW Dynamite.” The Young Bucks are in front of their hometown fans, The Rascalz haven’t been defeated since joining AEW in January, and the returning Private Party haven’t competed since losing to The Hurt Syndicate in January 2025. After a three-way match at a crazy pace, Matt and Nick Jackson emerged victorious and took home the titles.
Isiah Cassidy and Mark Queen may have been gone for over a year, but they didn’t look like they’d lost a step early on, and both reminded the Young Bucks of their past game. That being said, Desmond Xavier and Myron Reed made their presence felt throughout the match, with Reed especially looking to make an impression as this was AEW’s in-ring debut. All three teams tried their best to get the better of it, but ultimately the Young Bucks found themselves in a winning position, delivering superkicks to Cassidy, Reed, and Xavier before catching Queen with a BTE trigger to give them the victory.

After the match, FTR took to the ring to confront the Young Bucks, claiming that they had solidified their status as the greatest tag team of all time, leaving Matt and Nick in second place. Matt got fed up with Dax Harwood’s trash talking and gave him a superkick, and Nick defeated Cash Wheeler, but before they could get to the back, Matt and Nick sent a signal to Stokely Hathaway by threatening to superkick him and get him out of his wheelchair.
