After the game, a video of FBI Director Kash Patel celebrating in the team’s locker room immediately went viral…
… sparking criticism of the use of taxpayer funds.

Donald Trump later called the team to congratulate them. In one recording, he can be heard talking about the gold-medal-winning U.S. women’s hockey team: “I have to tell you, we’re going to have to bring a women’s team. You do know that. I do believe I could be impeached [if I don’t invite them]OK? “

This makes people feel “disgusted”.
Now, the government is back at it, sharing a triumphant post on the White House’s X account of a bald eagle trampling a Canada goose.

“When I was growing up, when I was a nanny, it was generally believed that children should be educated and adults should be modeled on good sportsmanship,” one person responded. “We cannot let this government of ignorant, naive, insecure people drag our country into this gutter.”

On the ratings front, another added, “Come on man. So excited for this game, it’s incredible, I’m in my living room chanting America, trying not to wake my wife, and then see this scene from the White House on Twitter. So embarrassing.”
