According to the SteamDB chart, since the release of Shadow on April 22, the highest number of concurrent players in a single day for “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered” has reached 190,119. As of this writing, the game has over 92,000 players. The role-playing game is currently one of the most played games on Steam, behind games such as Counter-Strike 2, PUBG: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Dota 2, Monster Hunter: Wild, and Apex Legends.
The Steam player numbers are impressive, especially considering that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is also launching on Game Pass, date and time, and will be free to subscribers. With the game releasing on Game Pass, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X, the remaster’s overall player count is likely to be higher. That number will become clear when Bethesda provides relevant updates.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered was revealed and released on April 22 after a series of leaks suggested a surprise release this month. Developed by Virtulous and Bethesda Game Studios, the remake was rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5.
The remaster comes with the base game, the Shivering Isles and Tales of the Nine Knights expansions, and other downloadable content – even the infamous horse armor pack. In addition to enhanced visuals, the remaster also features multiple gameplay improvements and quality-of-life improvements that modernize the game to today’s standards.
