Régis Le Bris has confirmed that Sunderland winger Bertrand Traore will be sidelined again.
Traore, who recently returned from a knee injury, was forced off after coming on as a substitute in Sunderland’s 1-0 win over Leeds earlier this week.

“A date has not been set yet, but it could be a long-term injury,” LeBris said.
“We’re still deciding whether it’s surgery or more conservative treatment, we don’t know that yet. But yes, he’s going to be out for a while, I think so.”
Jocelyn Tubby and Romain Mondel are certain to be out long-term through injury, but there were positive updates from Brian Brombie, Reinildo, Noddy Mukiele and Denis Serkin ahead of the FA Cup clash with Port Vale.
“Brian trained this morning and he won’t be able to play in the Port Vale game but he should be fine next week,” Le Bris said.
“Rei should be running on grass this weekend, which is also good. He is very close to being back in the team. Everything is going well.

“Noddy may be running next week as well. They are available around Brighton or Newcastle.
“Dennis, same thoughts. He’s still a little sore from running last week, but not too much, which is normal. It’s symptom-based and we still need to adjust the rehab plan based on how he’s feeling, but he’s doing great.”
Goalkeeper Robin Roofs will also be out for about a few weeks.
