GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Students from four schools in the greater Green Bay area got a chance to showcase their skills this weekend, all for a good cause.

Students from Leopold, Edison, Washington and West De Pere created custom pieces that were displayed at the Green Bay Home Show inside the Resch Fair.

The pieces on display, made by students in partnership with the Brown County Home Builders Association, include wooden Adirondack chairs, fire pits and other outdoor furniture.

Kids who are working in the industry that age, have hands-on experience doing all of these things, learning how all of this stuff works, but also getting experience presenting to attendees and vendors in the industry at a big show like this.

The student projects on display were then auctioned off, with proceeds going to support the Brown County Home Builders Association’s educational programs.
