The National Weather Service predicts snow will fall on February 10 in parts of eastern Lane County, including Oakridge and Blue River.
The NWS says parts of Oregon’s Cascade foothills above 1,000 feet, such as Oakridge and McKenzie Bridge, have a 60-80 percent chance of more than 2 inches of snow. The NWS says there is a 40-60% chance of 6 inches or more of snow on Cascade Pass.
Accumulated snow can make roads slippery and people traveling through these areas should drive with caution.

The National Weather Service does not expect snow to extend into the Willamette Valley. Eugene has no chance of snow, while Cottage Grove has about a 1% chance of seeing at least 0.1 inches of snow on the morning of March 10.

Saturday, March 7 will be sunny and seasonally warm, with rain returning on Sunday, with a 70% chance of precipitation overnight.
Eugene-Springfield Temperatures will be near freezing overnight on March 9. The NWS predicts a low of 34 degrees.
