A longer-lasting winter storm will hit Massachusetts this weekend, potentially bringing 1-2 feet of snow.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for the area from Sunday into Monday night.
Utility and road crews are out in full force preparing for possible power outages and hazardous driving conditions.
The storm is expected to move in around lunchtime on Sunday and continue into Monday night.

The heaviest snowfall is expected along the coastline, where up to 24 inches of snow could fall.
Most of Massachusetts could see 15 to 20 inches of snow.
Depths on Cape Cod and the Islands are approximately 8 to 15 inches.
In addition to the snow, a cold weather advisory was issued Saturday due to dangerously cold air.
