Chelsea are among the clubs keeping a close eye on Marseille’s young players Darryl Bakola, according to France.
The Blues have invested heavily again this summer and completely revamped their forward line with the introduction of five new attacking players.

Chelsea have been linked with a number of players as January approaches, although reports suggest the Blues won’t be busy next month.

Chelsea were briefly linked with Antoine Semenho, while also being linked with the likes of Keith Smit and Noah Sadiki.
Of course, Chelsea have also been linked with a number of talented youngsters, and they appear to have their eye on another youngster as well.

Chelsea are keeping a close eye on 18-year-old Marseille star Bacola, whose contract expires in 2027, according to Foot Mercato.

The report adds that Newcastle and Arsenal are also interested, but Chelsea are already making moves behind the scenes and are considering loaning him to Strasbourg.
Bakola, who plays in midfield and is a product of Marseille’s youth academy, has made eight first-team appearances this season, seven of which have come in Ligue 1.
The teenager, who is also a member of France’s under-20 national team, looks set to make a big decision about his future soon.

Whether Chelsea sign a midfielder in January remains to be seen, but it looks likely that a move will be made next summer.

The Blues will reportedly prioritize signing a midfielder next summer to ease the burden on Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez.
