Photos released of duo sought in SF Marina District assault

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – The San Francisco Police Department has released photos of two suspects in connection with a serious assault in the city’s Marina District in early February that left the victim hospitalized with “serious injuries.”

SFPD said that on February 8, two victims walked into the North Precinct Police Department to report a physical altercation that occurred in the early morning hours.

The victims told police they were standing in front of a business in the 3100 block of Fillmore Street when they encountered a group of men.

“After a brief verbal altercation with the victim, the victim walked away,” SFPD said. “A short time later, the individuals approached the victim again in the 2000 block of Union Street and physically assaulted them.”

This remains an active case.

“Investigators are seeking the public’s help in locating persons of interest in this case,” police said.
