The road leading to California’s exclusive bohemian club is lined with “non-through road” signs.
The Bohemian Club is said to have been founded in San Francisco in 1872 by a group of journalists, artists, and musicians who sought a place to gather and celebrate the arts.
Over time, the club appears to have expanded to include prominent business leaders and public officials, gradually moving away from the main artistic circles toward a broader network of influential figures.
Its annual summer camp at Bohemian Grove in Sonoma County reportedly began in the late 19th century and grew into the private resort we know today.
