COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Olivia Olson scored a career-high 31 points, including a breakaway jumper with 3.2 seconds left in overtime, to help No. 8 Michigan beat No. 13 Ohio State 88-86 on Wednesday night.
Ohio State’s Chance Gray hit a 30-footer on the ensuing shot, but the senior didn’t take the shot until after the final buzzer.

Olson also added nine rebounds and four assists for Michigan (23-5, 14-3 Big Ten), which set a conference winning record.
Trailing 86-78 with 1:40 left in the game, the Wolverines scored the final 10 points. Michigan had three starters fouled out, but Macy Brown, who averaged 2.1 points per game, scored eight straight points, including two three-pointers, to tie the game at 86.
Syla Swords scored 22 points, including four three-pointers.
Ohio State’s Jaloni Cambridge scored 22 points, including three free throws with 0.6 seconds left to send the game into overtime.
Michigan led 74-71 on Brooke Quarles Daniels’ attempted inbounds with 2.2 seconds left. Ohio State’s Elsa Lemmila blocks pass. Cambridge got the ball but was fouled by Daniels while trying a three-pointer in the right corner.

Gray scored 19 points and Lemira had 11 points and 15 rebounds. The Buckeyes (23-6, 12-5) have lost three of their past four games.
Ohio State hit four three-pointers in the first quarter to lead 28-14. With 4:13 left in the first half, the Wolverines went on an 18-4 run to tie the score at 32.
Michigan trailed 40-39 at halftime but opened the second half with an 11-3 run. At the beginning of the fourth quarter, Suozzi’s three-pointer gave the Wolverines a 67-58 lead.
