New Tennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh met with the media at the NFL Scouting Combine on Tuesday and touched on a variety of topics, from general manager Mike Borgonzi to defensive tackle Tevondre Sweat.
He was also asked about the status of quarterbacks Cam Ward and Will Levis, who are out all of 2025 after shoulder surgery. While many believe the Titans will eventually trade Levis, Saleh’s comments make it sound as if the team intends to bring Levis into training camp and potentially compete to be Ward’s primary backup.
“Yes, I’ve met Will [Levis] Recently, I told him to have the best offseason of his life. Attack this offseason, go all out and let’s see what happens. “He’s really talented and I look forward to him being a part of the team,” Saleh said. “

With free agency looming and the draft approaching, it’s difficult to understand any comments from the organization regarding depth and position, and Saleh’s comments are what one should expect. Even if the Titans wanted to trade Levis, they were unlikely to reveal their plans at the combine.
In a draft class that appears to be thin at the quarterback position, Levi appears to have some value both pre-draft and draft weekend and could be moved. But, like everything else at this point in the offseason, the moves the team makes in the coming weeks will provide plenty of insight into its offseason plans.
