New York Giants co-owner and American film producer Steve Tish sought help from Jeffrey Epstein more than a decade ago to help him connect with women, according to emails released by the Justice Department on Friday.

In an email dated April 26, 2013, Tish asked Epstein if he knew anything about a “really cute girl” he had met at Epstein’s home earlier that week. Epstein responded that he would “get all the information on her” and asked Tish if he had contacted another woman, whom Epstein gave a rough description. Epstein told Tisch, “I’m glad to have you as a new but obviously mutually interested friend.”

Tisch, now 76, said he planned to contact the woman and ask her in an email if she was “a professional or a civilian?” Epstein responded that the woman was “a civilian, but a Russian who rarely tells the whole truth, but it’s funny.”

Tish told CNN late Friday night, “We had a brief relationship and exchanged emails about adult women, in addition to discussing movies, philanthropy and investing. I have not accepted any of his invitations and have never been to his island. As we all know now, he is a horrible person and I deeply regret being associated with him.”

Tisch had never publicly been in contact with the convicted sex offender before, but he communicated with him multiple times in 2013, emails show. Tisch has not been charged or charged with any crimes related to Epstein.

On June 2, 2013, Epstein emailed Tisch: “You should be in New York this week, getting new gifts.”

“Was my gift in New York?” Tisch asked. It was unclear from the email whether the two met in New York that week or were referring to plans for later that month.

Eight days later, on June 10, 2013, Tish emailed Epstein: “Hopefully we can catch up. Would you like me to meet in New York? I’ll be there on Thursday, thank you.”

When Epstein gave him a name that was redacted in the documents, he told Tisch that the woman was “Tahitian, primarily French-speaking, exotic.”

The NFL team owner asked if the person was a “career woman,” to which Epstein responded: “Nwver.”
