Manchester United are considering looking at Bournemouth again in a bid to bolster their attack.

Manchester United attempted to sign Antoine Semenho from Cherries in January, but the Ghanaian winger ultimately chose Manchester City as his preferred destination.

The Red Devils will want Semenho to feature on the left side of the attack, an area that continues to be a concern.

Marcus Tavernier on Manchester United watchlist

According to the Daily Mail , Manchester United have “included Bournemouth striker Marcus Tavernier on their list of potential left-wing targets in the summer.”

Tavernier has also attracted interest from Aston Villa and has been a vital part of Bournemouth’s attack under Andoni Illaura.

The 26-year-old has been directly involved in 10 goals in all competitions and is impressive with his powerful dribbling and ability to link up with teammates in tight spaces.

The Englishman, who is also capable of playing as an attacking midfielder, is contracted until 2029 and is therefore reportedly worth around £40m.

United are also eyeing Nottingham Forest’s versatile Morgan Gibbs-White and RB Leipzig winger Jan Diomande.

The report adds: “United will be watching developments closely and their final selection will also depend on their results this season. Champions League qualification will change the landscape of players they can pursue. However, if they miss out, they may need to sell to help raise funds and lower their sights on players they can attract.”

Manchester United set sights on Tyler Adams

The Premier League giants are also hoping to sign two midfielders in the summer.
