Manchester City host West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium, with the Blues looking to secure the final three points before Christmas.
City progressed to the Carabao Cup final with a 2-0 win over Brentford on Wednesday night and will play Newcastle United over two legs, with a final against Arsenal or Chelsea if they beat the Geordiers.

Today, however, they face a struggling Hammers side who have won just three of their sixteen games so far this season and are just three points away from relegation safety compared to Wolves and Burnley.
Victory for Manchester City and a helping hand for Everton against Arsenal would put the Blues top of the table at Christmas and give fans an early Christmas present.

Saul
Tricky games against odd teams. West Ham are struggling and Manchester City are flying. Winning should be the most important thing. 3-1 City.

With the Hammers, there is a chance to top the table at least temporarily. West Ham have fallen on hard times as they struggle to avoid relegation. Manchester City are firing on all cylinders at the moment and will put pressure on the Gunners with a win.

Manchester City are playing well at the moment and I can’t see anything else but this win
Manchester City 5-1 West Ham United
Pete
I like West Ham but today I’m worried about them. They faced a Manchester City side that showed no signs of slowing down like a juggernaut. This would probably be a straight win, but again I’m going for a crazy number.
