More: Caleb Williams’ throw to DJ Moore in overtime was not just a play on the game, it was part of the game. PFF feels the same way.

He has consistently brought out the best in quarterbacks during his tenure in San Francisco, and his latest project is transforming “Mr. Irrelevant” Brock Purdy into a legitimate starting quarterback.
Shanahan had nothing but high praise when asked about Caleb Williams’ situation against him on Sunday.

He can hold the ball temporarily — not in a bad way, but by creating things, which makes coverage have to go on forever.”
