The Boston Bruins are one of the best home teams in the NHL this season, and they proved it again on Tuesday night.

The Bruins overcame an early deficit to win again with a 2-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins at TD Garden. They have now won 11 straight home games since losing to the Montreal Canadiens on Dec. 23 at TD Garden, improving their home record to 23-8-1.
In other words, Boston has yet to lose at home in 2026.
Credit for Tuesday’s win should go to Jeremy Swayman. After allowing a quick goal to Erik Karlsson in the opening minute, he calmed down and didn’t allow him another goal for the rest of the game.
Swayman finished with 34 saves, including a combined 28 saves in the second and third periods.

After the game, he praised the support of Bruins fans for giving the team such a big advantage at home.
“Baby, that’s Bruins family,” Swayman told reporters. “We’re so lucky to have them supporting us… We love being home because they’re so loyal and they love us… It wouldn’t be possible without these fans, so we’re lucky to have all of you and we’re excited to keep going.”
Boston travels to Nashville to face the Predators on Thursday, so their next chance to extend their home winning streak will be Saturday against the Washington Capitals. The Capitals have struggled on the road this season, giving the Bruins a good chance to win again at TD Garden.
