During his visit, he knew Indiana might be the perfect location.
“I’ve talked to Indiana many times and this is the only visit I’ve scheduled,” Short said over the weekend. “I really like what Indiana has done under Coach Signetti. The way he’s turned the program around is unbelievable.”
When Short was in high school, Tom Allen was the head coach at Indiana University. He visited and enjoyed it. This may be his only visit before making his decision.

Indiana lands a talented TE in Short
Before coming to Miami, Brock Short was rated as one of the top tight ends in the country. He is listed as a four-star prospect according to Rivals Industry Rankings and is ranked No. 246 overall nationally in his category.
Short is the No. 13 tight end in the class. He was the sixth overall pick out of Indiana.
As a senior in high school, Brock Schott played in 11 games and had 28 catches for 462 yards and five touchdowns. In his final year at school, he was named “Mr. Football” at the tight end position by IFCA.
