Speaking on Sky Sports this morning, Tottenham fan Jamie O’Hara grudgingly admitted that the appointment of Xabi Alonso as new manager is shockingly good news for Chelsea.
O’Hara praises Chelsea’s decisive move
“I can’t believe Liverpool lost the ball and didn’t catch him because I think he’s a fantastic manager,” O’Hara said.
“He’s young, he’s successful and, you know, he’s going to have the respect of every player in the squad. I think it’s a real coup for Chelsea to push the boundaries because there’s been turmoil between them and the manager. Ronnie Orr was a disaster and now they have a top coach, a real top coach.”
