The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 is live streaming online and you can follow the event in a number of different ways on live TV and OTT platforms. Here’s what you need to know about the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 and how to watch online. The cricket tournament kicked off in Oman on Sunday with the co-hosts winning their first-round match. Oman are one of eight teams competing for four Super 12 spots along with Bangladesh, Ireland, Namibia, Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, Scotland and Sri Lanka.
This is the second group stage of the 2021 T20 World Cup this Saturday (October 23). India are naturally one of the quarter-finals awaiting four qualifiers, along with Afghanistan, Australia, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and defending champions West Indies. (At the same time, the Super 12 will play a series of warm-up matches.) The top four of the Super 12 will advance to the knockout rounds of the 2021 T20 World Cup, with the semi-finals and finals to be held in the United Arab Emirates. Despite being co-hosts, the UAE was unable to participate.
2021 T20 World Cup Schedule
The 16 participating countries will play a total of 45 Twenty20 matches across four venues in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat and Sharjah, starting from the start of the international tournament on Sunday, October 17, to the finals of the 2021 T20 World Cup in Dubai on Sunday, November 14.
The first round was divided into two groups of four people each for 12 games. Competition starts on Sunday 17th October and runs until Friday 22nd October. The matches will be played in Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Sharjah.
In addition, eight warm-up games will be played between the Super 12 teams from Monday, October 18 to Wednesday, October 20. These matches are naturally non-competitive and therefore are not strictly part of the 2021 T20 World Cup.
The Super 12 will give us an extra 30 games, also divided into two groups – six games in each group. The T20 World Cup Super 12 2021 will begin on Saturday, October 23, and end on Monday, November 8, with Team India playing the final match. The tournament will be held in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.
The remaining three games are two semi-finals and the final. The two semi-finals of the 2021 T20 World Cup are scheduled to be played on Wednesday, November 10 and Thursday, November 11. The competition will be held in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. As I mentioned before, the finals will be held in Dubai on Sunday, November 14th.
How to watch T20 World Cup 2021 in India
For us Indians, all T20 World Cup matches will start at 3:30 pm or 7:30 pm IST. This coincides exactly with the recently concluded Indian Premier League 2021, which was also held in the UAE.
Like the IPL, Disney+ Hotstar is the exclusive home for the T20 World Cup 2021 live broadcast in India. You can watch every match from the group stage to the finals on Disney+ Hotstar.
Of course, you need to subscribe to Disney+ Hotstar to watch the T20 World Cup 2021. If you already have one, that’s great. You don’t need to worry about anything.
For others, Disney+ Hotstar sports costs are higher than before with plans now starting at Rs. Disney+ Hotstar Mobile is $499 per year. You might even have to pay more if you don’t want to watch the 2021 T20 World Cup on your mobile phone.
To watch it on your TV or laptop, you need Disney+ Hotstar Super, which is priced at Rs. 899 per year. You don’t need to spend Rs. on Disney+ Hotstar Premium. 1,499 per year as the 2021 T20 World Cup will not be broadcast in 4K. Unless you plan to stream on four devices simultaneously, the Premium tier is the way to go.
Every match of the T20 World Cup 2021 will also be telecast on Star India’s range of channels (check channel numbers for Dish TV, Tata Sky, Airtel and Videocon d2h). These include Star Sports and its local language subsidiaries: Star Sports Hindi, Star Sports Tamil, Star Sports Telugu and Star Sports Kannada, which provide commentary in the above mentioned languages.

In Pakistan, T20 World Cup 2021 live streaming is on Daraz app. On TV, you can watch PTV Sports or Asports, depending on the event you are interested in.
In Bangladesh, you can watch T20 World Cup 2021 online through Rabbithole, Biscope and MyGP. For cable viewers, GTV, T-Sports and BTV are your best friends.
In Sri Lanka, Siyatha TV will provide the live broadcast on its website and holds the television rights. Star Sports will also broadcast some games.
In Australia, the 2021 T20 World Cup is available on Foxtel GO, Foxtel NOW and Kayo Sports. On TV, Fox Cricket is the way to go.
In New Zealand, Sky Go and Sky Sport Now offer live coverage of the 2021 T20 World Cup. Sky Sports 3 will entertain New Zealand viewers on television.
