Haas unveils 2026 F1 car livery as Toyota becomes title sponsor

Haas Formula 1 Team has become the third team to reveal its livery for the upcoming 2026 season and the first to have Toyota Gazoo Racing as title sponsor.

The two parties established a technical partnership at the end of 2024, but this year the relationship was strengthened and the official name was changed to “TGR Haas F1 Team”.

This is reflected in Haas’s new livery: Toyota gets branding on the bonnet, front wings and halo front, with the wide-ranging regulatory changes introduced this season.

The American team finished eighth in the championship last year with Oliver Bearman and Esteban Ocon, who will continue as drivers this season, giving Haas their highest points total since 2018 (79).

“Like all teams, we face the challenge of competing in 2025 while looking to design and manufacture these new rules entries for the 2026 season,” said team owner Gene Haas, whose team has already launched the new design with Red Bull and Racing Bulls.

“Pre-season preparation is crucial to understanding what these cars are capable of and how the drivers, engineers and teams adapt to them. We have at least continuity in terms of the drivers, Oli and Esteban and our design and engineering teams.

“The level of competition in the midfield last season was very high and very tough and we need to get out there again and continue to develop – both on and off the track. Personally, I’m very interested to see how the racing unfolds across the circuit and what these new rules will bring to performance.”

The new livery is whiter than last year, replacing the previous black bonnet and front halo, and adding red to represent Toyota’s colors.

Haas also unveiled its design through a simple online event rather than a large gathering of the Red Bull-owned team in Detroit last Thursday.

It’s clear from the images provided that Haas still retains pushrod front suspension and pullrod rear suspension, as well as the wide winglets on the front wings.

“It feels a bit surreal to launch a new car at the start of the year, but it’s equally exciting to enter a new F1 series – especially with such changes in the rules,” said team principal Ayao Komatsu.

“We are completely focused on getting ready for the test week in Barcelona. It was a huge effort from everyone on the team in such a tight turnaround time from the end of last season to getting the car on the road in January.

“Needless to say, after so much discussion, we can’t wait to see how the cars perform and what we’ll be facing when we run the testing program ahead of Australia.

“Track time in Spain and Bahrain is crucial and while we know there will be challenges along the way, we do it because we are passionate about Formula One.”

Audi will be the team to launch its car next Tuesday, ahead of a five-day private test in Barcelona on January 26 before the season opener in Melbourne on March 6-8.
