New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart just concluded his impressive rookie season in blue, giving fans a preview of a career that could lead to him becoming an NFL star. Now that the season is over, he has no plans to slow down. He plans to return to the field immediately and prepare for next season.
“Those are definitely conversations we’ve been having,” Dart told Giants.com’s Madeline Burke when asked about his plans for working out with teammates this offseason. “Just trying to make sure we have a good plan around everybody’s schedule for getting together.

“This offseason is very important for us. There’s a lot of uncertainty about what’s going to happen. What we do know for sure is that people are going to come back. You know, we have to make sure that we can build the strongest culture and relationships possible for next year.
“It doesn’t have much to do with football, but just spending time with each other off the field and then when we get those opportunities on the field, building those connections and creating the timing and the rhythm of what we’re doing and making sure everyone is on the same page.”
The “returning” teammates Dart refers to are wide receivers Malik Nabors and Wan’Dale Robinson, running back Cam Scatebo and tight end Theo Johnson.
Dart’s plan to get everyone back on the field may have to wait. Injuries and contract issues could delay the reunion.

Dart and Nabors never really had a chance to gel on the field this year. Dart didn’t play until Week 4, when Nabors suffered a season-ending knee injury. He only had two catches in the game for a total of 20 yards. Nabors is expected to be ready for training camp, but there are rumors that he will start workouts on the Physically Unable to Play (PUP) list and could miss the early part of the 2026 season.
Robinson is set to become a free agent in March, but there’s speculation the Giants want to keep him. Robinson has caught more than 90 passes for two straight seasons, becoming one of the NFL’s most reliable receivers.
Scatterbo suffered a broken ankle seven games into his rookie season, and although he showed up at the Giants’ facility, he still has a long road to recovery. There’s a good chance he’ll return to training camp given his makeup, but he’s still a question mark.
Johnson and Dart developed some rapport this season, but he ended the year with a “non-communicable infection/disease” that was serious enough to keep him out of games, but not serious enough to prevent him from playing against the Knicks.
