After visiting Eugene, former Nebraska Cornhuskers starting quarterback Dylan Raiola has announced his commitment to the Oregon Ducks.
Raiola was in Eugene for a weekend visit, and he received multiple predictions Sunday morning that he would end up joining the Ducks.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder started for the Cornhuskers as a true freshman in 2024, leading the team to a 7-6 record while throwing for 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
He started nine games in 2025 before going down with a fractured fibula in early November. He dramatically improved his accuracy (72.4% completion rate) and decision-making, throwing for 2,000 yards, 16 touchdowns, and only six interceptions. Nebraska is 7-6 for the second straight season.
Raiola was a five-star quarterback who was ranked No. 2 in the 2024 recruiting class before committing to Nebraska. As a transfer, he was rated a four-star quarterback, the No. 5 quarterback and the No. 14 player by 247 Sports.
Because Raiola started his first two seasons at the collegiate level, he still has a redshirt to work with. This could affect his commitment to the Ducks, as current Oregon starter Dante Moore could decide to forgo the 2026 NFL Draft and remain the starter next season, with Raiola relegated to a backup role.

It’s a similar blueprint that five-star Moore followed when he came to Oregon State, backing up sixth-year senior Dillon Gabriel for one season before taking over as the starter in 2025.
It will be interesting to see what the Ducks decide to do if Moore leaves for the NFL. Raiola is expected to be healthy at some point this spring after recovering from a fractured fibula, but Oregon will likely be looking for another gateway quarterback to compete with the Nebraska transfer for the quarterback No. 1 spot.
Raiola has two seasons of eligibility left and the redshirt is still available.
