Former MSU football staffer reportedly hired by Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have hired a former Michigan State assistant coach.

Former Michigan State assistant football coach Brandon Jordan has reportedly been hired by the Dallas Cowboys, according to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz. According to Zenitz, Jordan will serve as the Cowboys’ pass rush consultant.

Jordan will serve as a pass-rushing specialist under former Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker during the 2022 season. Jordan is known for working with a number of top NFL players, having worked with the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks since his brief spell with the Spartans.

Jordan was one of three MSU staff members sanctioned by the NCAA last fall for recruiting violations. According to the NCAA, Jordan received a five-year performance penalty for knowingly providing impermissible recruiting inducements.
