British stone. George, Utah (ABC4) — Parker Trent Kingston, the former Brigham Young University football player accused of raping a 20-year-old woman, appeared virtually in court Wednesday morning.
Kingston, 21, was charged by the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office with first-degree felony rape stemming from an incident last year. The alleged victim reported to police that Kingston raped her on February 23, 2025, at a residence in St. George.

The two attorneys discussed discovery Wednesday morning. No further discovery is requested.
A preliminary hearing will be held on March 23. It’s unclear whether the alleged victim will testify at the hearing.
Who is Parker Trent Kingston?
A spokesman for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Kingston is a former member of the BYU football team.
Kingston, a Roy High School graduate, was BYU’s leading receiver last season, catching 66 passes for 924 yards and five touchdowns. Kingston also rushed for 123 yards and returned a punt for a touchdown.
Kingston is expected to be the Cougars’ top receiver next season.
BYU Athletics released the following statement regarding Kingston’s arrest:
“Brigham Young University learned today of the arrest of Parker Kingston. The University takes any allegations very seriously and will cooperate with law enforcement. Due to federal and university student privacy laws and practices, the University will not be able to provide additional comment.“
BYU confirms Kingston to ABC4 No longer on the team.
Accusations are just accusations. All persons arrested are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
